Additional terms apply to your digital channel use, published on the relevant channel.
2. Reservations
Follow the website, mobile site, or app instructions to reserve your room.
You must be at least 18 to make a reservation. Those under 18 need a parent or guardian staying. See section 5 “Occupancy” for details.
Provide your credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
Check your reservation details before confirming. We won’t be liable for delays or non-performance due to incorrect information.
We’ll confirm your reservation with an email to the provided address. This forms the contract between us for your room and any additional services.
If you have a reservation mistake or need changes, contact us at info@theravenhotel.com or 01536 202313.
Online prices are per room. Room rates may differ for group bookings. Contact us for group inquiries.
Room prices fluctuate based on demand. We’ll give you a total price for your requested rooms and nights. The quoted price remains the same.
Room prices are per room, per night, inclusive of VAT. If VAT changes, we may adjust it, but the price stays the same.
A self-serve continental breakfast is included. Room rates can’t be reduced if breakfast isn’t required. Other meals and extras aren’t included but can be ordered separately.
Meals are not included in the room price. You can order them separately at reception or our restaurant.
Meals other than breakfast aren’t included in the room price.
Under 18s can’t stay unless a parent or guardian is also staying. We may request valid ID and age proof. Bring this with you and ensure all guests bring ID. Otherwise, you and/or your guests may not be allowed to stay.
We don’t have accessible rooms, but our ground floor rooms have ramped access and wider doors.
We will try to accommodate special requests, but all rooms are subject to availability.
10. Cancellation
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel within 48 hours of the booking date and check-in time, we’ll charge the full amount. Room amendments may be possible, subject to availability.
Consider taking out room cancellation insurance if you need to cancel.
We can cancel your reservation at any time with immediate effect, giving you written notice (email included), if:
- You don’t pay when required
- You breach the contract
- You’ve previously breached the contract
If you’re at fault, we reserve our legal rights regarding your breach. If your stay hasn’t started, the total payment is considered a cancellation charge and isn’t for any service.
Events outside our control (like industrial action, explosions, disease outbreaks, health and safety issues, fires, flooding, power and water supply failures, or emergency evacuations) may prevent us from making your room available. We’ll contact you and:
- Refund your payment if you’ve already paid
- Don’t require payment if you haven’t paid
We won’t be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of our obligations caused by an event outside our control. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.
